In case you are scanning a picture to send it in digital format, please use the resolution like 300 dpi, at 100% (original dimension). Do not activate any of the special function of the scanner, like sharpening, contrast correction, etc. and save the file in JPEG format, with the littlest possible compression. If you want that the picture to be enlarged, you must scan it to a higher resolution like 600 or even 1200 dpi. Even if you have a black and white picture, please scan it in color mode.

If you are sending the pictures by post, please use a quality envelope to avoid the damages during the shipment. You can fix the pictures on a rigid support to avoid the folding up during their shipment.

If you are sending by post more than one picture, please number with a pen every picture on its backside, or you can put every picture in its own numbered envelope. In this way, we can be sure that we do what you want with the right picture. If you are sending digital images (email attachments), please specify the name of each attachment.

If you want the addition of a person or an object, try to find a picture where the light is coming approximately from the same angle. Please pay attention to the shadows position. In this way, you can save some of your money, because it will not be necessary such a laborious work to light up correctly the person or the object. If you do not have many choices, or all of your pictures are lighting up incorrectly, then you must send what you have and we will take care about the light.

In case that you want to remove a person or an object from a picture, please describe very well the person or the object that you are speaking about (for example: the third person from the left side, the black cat from behind). If is possible, it is better to send us a copy where you have encircled that person or object.

If you want to add a text to the image, please pay attention how you will write it. This must be spelled correctly and with right details.

If you want that a black and white picture to be colored, please describe very well the colors that you wish to be used. Every color has many shades, so it is very difficult to describe a certain shade from those many colors. If you do not know what color to choose, then we will choose it for you.

In case of a photomontage, please specify which of the picture will have the central place, so, which will be the principal picture. If you have no idea about this, we will arrange them in an interesting pose.

It is recommended that a vignette be loss in white, black or in other color already found in the picture. Anyhow, we can use any color that you wish.
